BIO
A seasoned Texas singer/songwriter, Jordan Whitmore's musical evolution spans diverse genres, transitioning from indie piano pop to the soulful roots of Americana.
Her debut album, "Other Side," garnered acclaim, winning Best Americana Song in the National Unplugged Songwriting Contest for "My Own Worst Enemy," reaching finalist status in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for "The High Road," and earning features in the international trailer for the film "The Choice" with "2,000 Years Ago" as well as the TV series "Swarm" with "The High Road."
Having cultivated her career in the vibrant music scene of Austin, she returned to her hometown of Dallas/Fort Worth in 2016, where she explored a gospel record under the moniker EUFAULA (her middle name). Following this side project, she released the deeply personal single "I Promise," a poignant reflection on her struggle with infertility and her longing for motherhood. This pivotal song propelled her towards the creation of her EP "Good Things," a hopeful six-track EP fusing Pop and Americana, produced by Austin’s Brian Douglas Phillips.
After embracing motherhood through adoption in 2020 and briefly stepping back from her musical endeavors, Jordan is set to unveil her latest acoustic EP, "One Breath," recorded with Phillips in Austin. This 3-song collection delves into life's challenges with raw emotion, showcasing a departure from her usual full-band style.
Excited about returning to the studio with her full band, Jordan Whitmore hints at more music on the horizon.
